Elite 800X: You must connect both the transmitter and headset to separate USB ports on your PC in order to update the firmware for the entire product.
The Turtle Beach Audio Hub will automatically check for the newest firmware and install the newest version if available. although, Competition would maybe encourage them to fix their product. There is no iOS-compatible Audio Hub for the Elite 800X. TB just better hope another wireless headset doesn't come out for the Xbone soon. I have yet to see that as a first time customer. The presentation and support of TB products are supposed to be the highest quality in the industry. When you click to go to the TB website via the banner in the app, it takes you to a hacked webpage demanding ransom. Wrong, it makes me want to burn my turtle beach box in a ceremonious 'goodbye' to the company as their most expensive and self-proclaimed, "most advanced headset in the world" do not even connect via this app. After getting through all the BS, here comes this app to save the day. My mic quality in Xbox Live Party chat is less great. I purchased the 800x Elite wireless headphones because they are the only completely wireless headset for the Xbox One, which is ridiculous in itself. As first time Turtle Beach customer I was a little reluctant to spend $300. Let me start off by saying how much I want to love you, Turtle Beach. Please try to do something to fix the issues that have arisen from the most recent update.
Like I said before, the Bluetooth functionality on the amp has been finicky since I bought it, but this latest update to the Audio Hub has made it worlds worse, almost unusable. This requires me to either leave it disconnected (which virtually makes the amp pointless) or constantly keep reconnecting it (which is incredibly frustrating).
I don’t adjust any settings on my phone and it remains within about one foot of my Xbox and SuperAmp the whole time it simply disconnects the Bluetooth completely on its own. In the past, I would just have a difficult time connecting my phone’s Bluetooth to the amp, but now it just disconnects on its own. It’s always been finicky, and I’m not sure why, but this most recent update to the Audio Hub has made it much worse. I’m pretty sure it’s my transmitter as Bluetooth devices connected to the headset give me no problems. The transmitter is no more than 6ft from me and nothing bear it to interfere I cant fathom what the issue is. One issue I have, however, is with the Bluetooth functionality of my SuperAmp. Anyone had an issue with a buzzing noise randomly starting in the headset.
And this is my third pair.I have the Turtle Beach Elite Pro 2 headset along with the Elite SuperAmp I’ve had them for several months now and I’m very pleased with their quality. And Turtle Beach Audio Hub will automatically prompt you to update the headset on all turtle beach elite pro 2 software. I thought the firmware update was supposed to resolve these or some of these issues, but still having problems. So as soon as I finish dictating a text, music starts. When I finish dictating a text The media player/music player starts up automatically.
I need to turn the headphones on and off sometimes two or three times before the sound volume is correct.ģ) when using the headphones with my iPhone via Bluetooth. These are the issues I am still having:ġ) occasionally upon start up the headphones power down automatically.Ģ) when turning on headphones and connecting them to the Xbox, many times the Xbox sound volume is nonexistent or very low. Then I tried plugging the headphones and transmitter into the Xbox to see if they worked any better. I waited for several minutes for this to stop, but they just kept on flashing.
After the loading and updating screens finished, the transmitter and the headphones continued flashing green simultaneously. The firmware has been updated even though there was no prompt stating so. I was told the firmware update would resolve them. This is the third pair of headphones I have had replaced because of the issues they have.
Although the software still has some bugs. The quality is there and they sound amazing (when they work). Still having issues after firmware update
